Halo Championship Series [HCS] on the decline?

ree

With the powder keg start that 343 Industries has had with the new release of Halo Infinite we saw the competitive side of Halo rise in popularity, showing the FPS (First Person Shooter) genre that Halo is back.

However, as time went on with the new game many players had found many bugs with the game, and therefore players have felt unmotivated to continue supporting the game this also included pros such as Tyler "Spartan" Ganza tweeting out outbursts on his unsatisfactory feeling with the game.

In more recent news, teams that have been participating applied to become a partner team with the developers in order to get their team's cosmetics in-game. So players can support their favorite team, money will also go to that direct team if fans purchase that teams skin.

One of the more notable teams that applied was, the Kansas City Pioneers (KCP) 343 had determined that KCP will not be a partnered team for undisclosed reasons. This infuriated fans and professional players as KCP was making big waves in HCS but as well supporting the scene by partnering with the Kansas City Royals to host a LAN event at the Royal's stadium.

With this, KCP has now announced that they shall be leaving Halo, the official announcement from the team will be getting announced later today as of writing this.
